This page explains what proof of working you must send to apply to switch from a post-study worker category in to the skilled worker category (Tier 2 General) of the points-based system to work in the United Kingdom.
You must send two pieces of evidence that you have worked for the sponsor for at least the last six months before you apply.
The documents are:
These should be either formal payslips or on company-headed paper. If payslips are not on headed paper or you only have online pay slips, you must get your employer?s signature and stamp on a print-out to confirm the payslip.
Payslips must cover the whole time claimed, so if your payslips are monthly, each monthly payslip for the time claimed must be sent.
Your personal bank or building society statements should clearly show:
The most recent statement must be dated within one month of when you apply.
If you want to send electronic bank statements from an online account, they must have all of the information above. You must also send a supporting letter from your bank, on company headed paper, confirming that the statements are genuine.
