Biometric residence permits are being introduced for more immigration categories
From Wednesday 29 February 2012, all applicants in the UK will need to obtain a biometric residence permit if they are applying to stay here for more than 6 months. To obtain a permit, they will need to enrol their biometric information (fingerprints and facial image). Please ensure you use the new version of the application form.
This page explains how you can apply for permission to remain in the UK as the dependant of a Turkish ECAA businessperson or employed person, using application form ECAA 3 Turkish Dependant.

There is no fee for making this application.
You must be inside the UK. You must apply before your current permission to stay in the UK expires.
You should post your application to us. You cannot make your application in person at our public enquiry offices. You should send the completed application form, with your supporting documents, to:

You do not need to use form ECAA 3 to make your application. Instead, the businessperson or employed person can include you on their application form.
During the time when we have your passport and are processing your application, we advise you not make any non-urgent travel plans.
