This immigration category closed on 26 November 2008. You may be eligible to apply under one of two new categories depending on the type of work you will be doing. For both categories you will need to be sponsored by your potential employer.

If you are coming to the UK for a maximum of 24 months to undertake short-term, temporary work, you may be able to apply under the new Tier 5 (Temporary workers - Religious workers) category.

If you want to come to the UK for more than 24 months, you will need to apply under the new Tier 2 (Minister of religion) category.
