Request for endorsement by a designated competent body
This page contains information about the documents that you must submit to support your request for endorsement by a designated competent body, when you apply for a visa under Tier 1 (Exceptional talent) of the points-based system.
You must provide:
- a printout of your unique reference number - you can find out how to request this number on the Requirements for initial applications page; and
- a completed competent body application form - you can download the relevant form for your chosen designated competent body from the right side of this page
- documents to meet your chosen designated competent body's criteria - you can download these criteria from the right side of this page.
You must submit all these documents to us with your application. We will then send the relevant documentation to your chosen designated competent body, which will advise us whether you meet its endorsement criteria.
