This page explains how you should complete the application form ECAA 3 Turkish dependant to apply to extend your permission to stay (leave to remain) in the United Kingdom as the dependant of a Turkish business person or employed person or (for dependants of business persons only) to stay permanently (indefinite leave to remain).
If you are already legally in the United Kingdom in this category or in some other capacity, such as a visitor or student, you may apply to extend your stay or switch to the Turkish-ECAA category if you are the dependant of a Turkish citizen who is established in business or is employed in the United Kingdom. See Staying in the United Kingdom as a Turkish citizen who will be establishing in business and Turkish citizens with permission to work in the United Kigndom for details of the ECAA and its requirements.
There is no fee for making this application.
If you are applying to extend your stay, you must apply at least four weeks before the end of your authorised stay in the United Kingdom. If you are applying for permanent residence, you must not send us your application more than 28 days before the end of your four-year qualifying period. If you do, we may refuse your application. However, you must make your application before your current permission to stay in the United Kingdom expires.
You should post your application to us. You cannot make an application of this type in person at our public enquiry offices. You should send it, with your supporting documents, to:
