The visa letter
This page explains what a visa letter is.
Your approved education provider must issue you a visa letter for you to be able to apply as a student. The visa letter is confirmation of your unconditional offer of a place on a course of study. You must have a visa letter when you apply, or your application will be refused.
Later on in 2009, approved education providers will start using our new IT system to start issuing confirmation of acceptance for studies, which is an electronic number, to allow you to apply for a student visa.
