Clarifications to the online application process for Tier 2 and Tier 5 in the UK

13 February 2012

Tier 2 and Tier 5 (Temporary worker) applicants in the UK can now make their applications online. We have now published the additional information below for applicants who have lived at the same address throughout their stay, or who want to demonstrate their English language ability using an English language test.

Previous addresses in the UK

During your online application, you will be asked to state your previous address in the UK. If you have only lived at 1 UK address in the last 5 years, you should restate your current UK address and the period that you have lived there.

English language test

If you need to provide evidence of an English language test to support your application, please check the evidence specified in our list of approved English language test providers (PDF 346KB opens in a new window). The list of documents in the online application may not include all of the evidence that we need to verify some tests, so we recommend that you check the list in the PDF before you submit your application, and include all evidence and documentation requested.
