Changes to British citizenship applications from children born of a surrogacy arrangement
02 November 2012
If you are applying for registration as a British citizen for a child born of a surrogacy arrangement you must include a covering letter confirming that the child was born as the result of a surrogacy arrangement.
You must also write the words 'Surrogacy case' across the top of your application form. Your application may be delayed if you do not follow the correct procedure.
