Libya: updated advice for Libyan visa holders

The special arrangements which were put in place on 20 July 2011 for Libyan migrants who wished to extend their leave under the Immigration Rules, are withdrawn with effect from 1 February 2012. These special arrangements were for applicants who were unable to meet some of the requirements of the Rules. This means that any application made after 1 February 2012 will be considered against the relevant Immigration Rules, in the normal way and normal application fees will apply.
