Clarification on disclosing sponsorship management system passwords

The points-based system programme director, Neil Hughes wrote to all Tier 2, 4 and 5 sponsors on 27 October 2009, asking sponsorship management system users to ensure that they protect their passwords as part of their responsibilities to maintain the security of the system.
It is important to note that this letter was a genuine, generic communication aimed at all users and not a specific institution or individual.
We appreciate your co-operation in ensuring that the system remains secure and restricted to those users for whom it is intended.
