Online submission of data to e-Borders from the general aviation and general maritime sectors

This page contains information for technical users who want to develop websites for their clients that will enable data to be submitted online to the UK Border Agency’s e-Borders system.

The general aviation (GA) and general maritime (GM) sectors already submit data to the UK Government offline, using:

The UK Border Agency intends to offer an online facility, called the Collaborative Business Portal (CBP), for the submission of data currently submitted on GAR, FAL and C1331 forms.

For details of the data that should be sent to e-Borders, see the e-Borders requirements for carriers and ports section.

Data may be submitted via trade/association organisations who want to set up aggregator websites connecting to the CBP using XML Schema messages and/or a file upload function, and who meet the appropriate UK Border Agency technical and security operating standards.

Below you can download the technical details (XML schema) that explain how your files must be formatted if you want to operate a trade or association aggregator website on behalf of members or carriers to submit data to the CBP. You can also download a list of the data fields and structures relevant to the XML schema.
