International conference
In September 2009 the Migration Advisory Committee hosted a international conference to bring together policy makers and experts from major immigration countries to comparatively discuss their labour immigration policy experiences with a particular focus on the role and optional design of points-based systems. The conference was attended by speakers and delegates from around the world. A summary of the event can be found below along with presentations made on the day:
