This page explains the help and support available to employers and sponsors wanting to employ or teach migrants under the points-based system.
The role of employers as sponsors of migrants is crucial to the success of tiers 2 and 5. We are working to ensure that our guidance and the support we provide is business friendly. We want this to be the first stage of an open dialogue with employers and their representatives about how we can work together to make these changes a success.
We are currently reviewing the information available to support businesses and other institutions apply successfully for sponsorship. We are grateful to the CBI and other organisations who are engaging with to ensure that these products are as user-friendly as possible and meet businesses' needs.
