You can check the progress of your application free of charge by using the VFS Global 'track your application' service.
We aim to process 90 per cent of non-settlement applications within 3 weeks, and 95 percent of settlement applications within 12 weeks.

Services are available in English and Thai from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 08:30 and 16:30.
Make a complaint
Letters or emails about decisions to refuse a UK visa will not be treated as complaints. If you do not agree with the decision on your visa application, please use the existing appeals channels.
If you have a complaint about how your visa application has been handled, or the conduct of UK Visas and Immigration staff:
- if you are in Thailand email UK Visas and Immigration in Thailand at email@example.com
If you want to complain about the service you have received at a visa application centre or the VFS Global call centre you should contact VFS Global at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please include as much information as possible including:
- your name and full contact details;
- a description of your complaint with names, dates and times;
- your date of birth, visa application type and application reference number.
We can only accept complaints in English or Welsh.
We aim to respond to complaints within 20 working days.
