Collecting your documents in Indonesia
This page tells you how you can collect your documents after we have made a decision on your UK visa application in Indonesia.
You can check whether your application has been processed using the VFS 'Track your application' service. You can also subscribe to the VFS SMS text service. You can find out more information about this service on the VFS in Indonesia website. VFS will tell you when your documents are ready for collection. You can then collect your documents and (if your application was successful) your visa from the visa application centre where you made your application. You will need to bring your receipt.
The VFS Global in Indonesia website lists the collection times at each visa application centre.
A nominated person can collect your documents on your behalf. They will need to provide an authorisation letter signed by you, your receipt and proof of their identity. Alternatively you can have your documents couriered to you home or work address (fee payable). If a nominated person is receiving the document on your behalf, they will need to provide an authorisation letter signed by you, your receipt and photo proof of their identity. You can find an authorisation letter form under 'Related documents' on the right side of this page.
If you are collecting a visa, you should check, before leaving the visa application centre, that it:
- contains your correct personal details;
- correctly states the purpose for which you want to come to the UK; and
- is valid for the date when you want to travel.
If you think there is anything wrong with your visa, speak to staff in the visa application centre immediately. Alternatively, you should contact the VFS call centre immediately. You can find their contact details on the VFS Global in Indonesia website.
