Further submissions in Scotland and Northern Ireland

From Wednesday 14 October 2009, asylum seekers whose application has been rejected must follow a new procedure if they want to make a further submission to us. Further submissions can be made by failed asylum seekers if their personal circumstances, or the circumstances in their home country, have changed.

Those who claimed asylum before 5 March 2007

If you live in Scotland, you must make your further submission in person at Liverpool further submissions unit. You must book an appointment to do this, by calling 0151 237 0980.

If you live in Northern Ireland, you can book an appointment to make a further submission by calling 02890 191 004 between 0900 to 1700, Monday to Friday.

Those who claimed asylum on or after 5 March 2007

If you live in Scotland, you must make your further submission in person at:

Opening times: Monday to Thursday, 0900 to 1700; Friday, 0900 to 1600

If you are reporting in the near future at Festival Court, you can make your further submission when you attend your reporting event.

If you are not currently reporting, or you want to make further submissions before your next reporting event, you can book an appointment by phoning our regional asylum team on 0141 555 1452 between 0900 and 1700, Monday to Friday.
