Further submissions in the North West of England

From Wednesday 14 October 2009, asylum seekers whose application has been rejected must follow a new procedure if they want to make a further submission to us. Further submissions can be made by failed asylum seekers if their personal circumstances, or the circumstances in their home country, have changed.

The procedures for failed asylum seekers who initially claimed asylum on or after 5 March 2007 are set out below. There is a different procedure for failed asylum seekers who initially claimed asylum before 5 March 2007.

Initial applications made on or after 5 March 2007

If you are living in the North West of England region, you must make your further submission in person as one of these two reporting centres:

Dallas Court reporting centre
1-2 Dallas Court
South Langworthy Road
Salford
M50 2GF

The Capital Building reporting centre
6 Union Street
Liverpool
L3 9AF

If you are already reporting regularly at one of these reporting centres, you can make your further submission at your usual reporting event. You do not need to make a separate appointment.

If you are not currently reporting at a reporting centre, you can book an appointment to make a further submission by calling your asylum case owner. Both reporting centres are open Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1600.

After you have made your further submission, you will be given a letter telling you the date and time when you need to return for the service of your decision.

If you require any further information, please contact your case owner.
