Family support policy

This page gives information on our section 9 implementation project.

The evaluation of our section 9 pilot was published on 25 June 2007 alongside a ministerial statement to Parliament on family asylum policy. The statement explains section 9 and you can read it on the Parliament website.

On the same date, we announced our plans for keeping children in the immigration system safe from harm, and you can read about them on the Home Office website.
