Refugee integration and resettlement strategy
This page describes the UK Border Agency's refugee integration and resettlement strategy, which was published in March 2009.
Entitled Moving on together: Government's recommitment to supporting refugees (PDF 938K opens in new window), the strategy explains how the UK Border Agency, other government departments and the Refugee Council are working together to help refugees achieve their full potential in the United Kingdom.
As well as describing our achievements since 2005, including the launch of the Refugee Integration and Employment Service and the expansion of the Gateway Protection Programme, the strategy sets out our current and future activities.
