Contract Award

The contract for North East, Yorkshire and the Humber has been awarded to G4S Care and Justice Services (UK) Ltd.

Now that the contracts have been awarded, the project will first move into a period of mobilisation and then into the transition period. This is to ensure the smooth movement of service users from the existing contracts into the new COMPASS contracts.

Transition is expected to take place between June and October 2012.

Next Steps

The NEYH COMPASS transition team is working with the regional operational teams within North East, Yorkshire and the Humber region, the new and exiting suppliers and key corporate partners to plan and manage the transition period. This is to ensure that there is minimal disruption to service users and the local community. Consideration will be given to minimise the impact on specific cases, such as school age children undertaking exams.

As we identify the service users who will be required to move properties as part of the transition, we will notify the appropriate parties, in adequate time, informing them of the details of the move.

If you would like more information about COMPASS, contract signature, mobilisation or transition, please contact the NEYH COMPASS transition team.
